Information on data protection.

How do we use your data?

Pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, we are providing you with the following information on the data processing that may take place after completing and sending the data indicated in the form that you are about to fill in.

Type of data processed and purpose of processing
Finstral AG only collects and processes your personal data and, if applicable, tax data; in no circumstances will Finstral AG process data that can be classified as “special” according to art. 9 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The data entered in the online form will be used for the following purposes once you have given your consent to the processing of your personal data:
a)for processing your enquiry;
b)for sending advertising and information material or commercial communications (by post, e-mail, telephone contact, etc.) relating to products/services supplied by the Data Controller;
c)for subscribing to the newsletter and the associated receipt of information material.

Requirement to provide data
The provision of data is necessary (mandatory) in order that we can process user enquiries in accordance with letter a). It is however optional for advertising and marketing activities in accordance with letters b) and c).
The total or partial refusal to provide the personal data in question may mean that we are unable to fulfil your request and will in any case prevent us from carrying out advertising and marketing activities.
We would remind you that the data marked with an asterisk (*) must be provided so that we can provide the requested services; if these data are not provided, your request might not be processed and the requested services might not be provided, nor might the data themselves be recorded as they appear when you fill in the form. Provision of the other data in the form is voluntary and you are free to decide whether you wish to provide these or not. Your consent may be revoked at any time by contacting the Data Controller at the e-mail addresses provided or by using the methods indicated by the tools used for processing.

Nature of data processing
The data are organised in paper archives and electronic databases; they will be processed by means of manual, computerised and telematic tools and procedures that guarantee their security and confidentiality, in compliance with the security measures deemed appropriate pursuant to the principles of art. 32 of the GDPR.

Extent of data knowledge
The data provided will be processed on behalf of the Data Controller by the personnel responsible for processing the request and, if necessary, by the personnel responsible for the technical operation of the website, and by any third parties responsible for processing.

Disclosure and publication of data
In order to achieve the purposes described above, Finstral AG may disclose the data to external parties, including:
  • other companies in the Finstral Group;
  • credit institutions, in particular for the processing of payments;
  • freight forwarders, courier services and door-to-door delivery services (foot or bicycle couriers) as well as post offices for the dispatch or receipt of goods and/or information material;
  • various experts, including specialists from law firms, for the protection of rights arising from contractual relationships;
  • external marketing companies commissioned by the company.
Your data may also be disclosed to third parties other than the Data Controller, i.e. to Finstral AG's dealer partners for advertising/marketing purposes and for direct offers of their products or services, both via traditional means of communication and via automated tools (e-mail, SMS). These third parties will process personal data as independent data controllers and will provide the relevant information on the corresponding data processing. You can in all cases assert your rights against third parties in accordance with arts. 15-22 of the GDPR.
The data will under no circumstances be disclosed.

Retention period
Your personal data will be stored until the desired purposes have been achieved or until you request their deletion and, in the event of a legitimate interest or of legal obligations, they may be kept in special archives for as long as is strictly necessary to meet these purposes.

Exercising your rights under art. 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
We would remind you of your right to request information from the Data Controller about your personal data, to require their correction or deletion or the restriction of data processing concerning yourself, and to object to such processing, as well as the right to request data portability; these rights can be asserted using the contact details above.
We would also remind you of your right to contact the data protection authority in order to lodge a complaint. In Italy, this is the Garante della Privacy.
