Detached house on Lake Maggiore

FIN-Room and FIN-Slide: a successful lakeside conversion project.

The building’s yellow façade is discreetly interrupted by the glass surfaces of the conservatory. This not only enlarges the living space: the associated skylights in the slim Nova-line design and the FIN-Slide lift-and-slide door also ensure maximum light incidence. The antique white of the PVC surface gently frames the unique views of Lake Maggiore on the inside, while the glass entry door offers a smooth transition between the exterior and the interior. Aluminium in Sablé anthracite was chosen as the frame material for the exterior of the elements. This robust material is weather- and heat-resistant. The Max-Valor triple insulation glass ensures optimum insulation – almost without the otherwise unavoidable loss of brightness. The single-pane Bodysafe safety glass is also impact-resistant and can protect against hail, heat breakage and injuries: should it break, it will shatter into small, blunt pieces instead of sharp splinters.
