Minimalist aesthetics and maximum functionality with FIN-Window.
The luxurious residence Las Golondrinas in Torremolinos, Spain, offers eleven generously glazed and individually designed apartments. The main façade with its large window areas faces south-east to make the best possible use of the gentle morning light. Facing north-west, the loggia façade with its distinctive solar protection ensures shade and privacy on the staggered terraces. This challenging project required affordable windows with a minimalist aesthetic, plenty of light incidence and excellent thermal and acoustic performance characteristics. The architects opted for the Nova-line sash: this is concealed on the outside, so it is not obvious whether it is a window opening or a fixed panel. This is complemented by the Mediterran glass with its high light transmittance to keep the interiors pleasantly cool in the hot Spanish summer. And double insulation glazing means peace and quiet even in the peak season in this popular tourist hotspot.
