Single-family house in Luxembourg

Not so long ago, there was a farmhouse with chickens and pigs running around. Now a modern villa stands here, with architecture that combines the present with the past in a contemporary yet timeless concept. The building, a reinterpretation of the old barn and parts of the farmhouse, fits snugly into its surroundings. Like Ying and Yang, the new and old styles blend together in perfect harmony. The Luxembourg Chamber of Architects in 2020 awarded this ingenious architectural achievement with its OAI prize in the single-family house category.

Aluminium – with a colour scheme of Anthracite Metallic for the exterior and a White satin finish for the interior – is an easy-care, weather-resistant, robust and durable material.
