An old house is being renovated, resulting in an unobtrusive, elegant villa. The narrow Nova-line frame design lends the façade its minimalist style. The large glass surfaces flood the rooms with light and give the interior of the house a pleasant lightness and openness, hardly conceivable from the outside. The black aluminium frames and window handles on the interior merge to form a dark border that is a striking feature of the rooms, enchantingly surrounding the glass. Dark-coloured panelling at certain points conceals the roller shutter boxes.
But surely dark frame colours are inappropriate for hotter climates? Not when it comes to Finstral’s aluminium frames: this light metal is heat-resistant and dimensionally stable up to 500°C – even if is dark in colour.
