Window replacement in Klagenfurt

The brief for this multi-unit villa in the Austrian federal state of Carinthia called for window replacements on all storeys to optimise living quality. Thanks to the minimally invasive slide-on installation method, no intervention in the building fabric was needed for the works – which, moreover, took only a few hours. This was because, instead of being removed, the existing window frames were simply cut back and faced with the new frames and new connection profiles. As for insulation: slide-on installation also involved upgrading the window frames to achieve state-of-the-art thermal performance.
Perfectly fitting windows were manufactured in a variety of shapes – angled, triangular and rectangular – to blend aesthetically with the existing façade configuration. Installed in most cases were FIN-Window products, with uPVC on both interior and exterior, with their unbeatably slender and stylish look. The functional benefits are also immense: whatever the outdoor conditions – whether hot, cold, wet or noisy – the new windows will always vouch for a pleasant indoor environment.
